After a weekend of audio production and trading audio files across the Internet with audio technician Mark Craney I decided to shake off the cobwebs and go down to the river. Hopefull not with the same intention as Geordie.

Newcastle Literary and Philospohical Society was the venue a while back for the launch of the Tom Kelly collection "Dreamers in a Cold Climate"

Now the venue provided the space for artists Tom Kelly and Steve Thompson to discuss a new project based around the final poem in the collection "Geordie". The epic poem is to be broken down into 8 pieces and Thompson will produce soundscapes for each one.
